A Southern Day Company LLC is a family-run business that has a lot to offer. The initial idea for the company started back when Melvene Day, the creator and owner, fashioned her very first Clear Seed Peach CookieTM.
 A Southern Day Company consists of myself, Melvene Day, my husband Harold, daughter Lynn, and son Robbyn. We come from Uvalda, Georgia. I've always been a cookie person and Georgia peaches have always been my favorite fruit; so when I decided to make cookies I wanted to make a cookie that resembled a peach. Even better, I thought, if you opened the cookie up and ate it like you would a peach, my cookie would be perfect!
I experimented with lots of cookie dough and prototypes. Lynn and Robbyn were my taste testers and let me know what they liked best. Harold suggested using an edible "seed" to complete the cookie. After quite a bit of experimenting, I have both of my favorites, the cookie and the peach, together in my Peach Melve's! This peach is available year round, and is a true souvenir of the Peach State that everyone can enjoy. My Peach Melve's come to you full of my family's dedication to have the most unique, tasty cookie creation possible.
